ScoutPin respects your privacy. This app is designed to store and manage photography location data locally on your device. We do not collect, track, or sell personal data.
Information We Collect
ScoutPin does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account details.
The app may store the following locally on your device only:
Saved photography locations
Location notes, categories, ratings, and tags
Photos you choose to associate with a location
Location coordinates you manually add or confirm
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export a backup.
Location Data
ScoutPin may access location services only if you choose to use them, for example:
Saving your current location
Viewing locations on a map
Location data is used solely for app functionality and is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to any server.
Photos
ScoutPin only accesses photos that you explicitly select within the app. Photos are stored locally and included in backups only when you choose to export them.
Backups
If you export a backup file, it is saved to a location you choose (such as Files or iCloud Drive). ScoutPin does not upload backups automatically and has no access to exported files after they are created.

Analytics services
Advertising networks
Tracking SDKs
User accounts or logins
Data Sharing
ScoutPin does not share your data with third parties.
Data Retention
All data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. You can clear all saved data at any time using the app’s tools.
Children’s Privacy
ScoutPin does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated if new features are introduced. Any changes will be reflected in future app updates.
